SERVICE LEARNING PROGRAM INTERACTIVE LEARNING WITH MULTIMEDIA CREATIVE AND TECHNOLOGY

We Reach We Care Program was a combine reinforcement from the three academic CCSL courses including ICT for Community Services (UKQA2072), First Aid (UKQU2612) and Pendidikan Pencegahan Dadah (UKQR2102) Course. The main objective of the Program We Reach We Care is (a) to connect with the people from Felda Papan Timur which is a rural area, (b) introduce and clarify the type of service learning offer to the community and (c) serving the community and sharing knowledge within the participants. Selection of locations were at Sekolah Kebangasaan Bandar Mas and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Mas, Kota Tinggi. Both schools collaborate with us in making this program a success. The UKQA2072 course conduct an Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Service Learning Academic titled Interactive Learning with Multimedia Creative And Technology For Learning 21st Century Skills was to share ICT. The purpose of the ICT program is to enhance the skills of the students and their ability in interacting with multimedia tools. We provide learning material for the students in a form of CD-ROM that contains material for their use. We divided the learning program into 3 parts which is kiosk design using power point and video editing using Renderforest. The program at both schools took place on Friday and Saturday, 19th until 20th of April, starting at 9am until 12pm. After the learning session finished, we all gather at the Dewan JKKR Felda for token appreciation. There were 20 participants from each school that participate in our ICT program.
